To build an industrial development platform and promote enterprise communication and cooperation, the "2024 Energy and Environmental Services Industry Annual Summit" hosted by the Energy and Environmental Service Industry Alliance (EESIA) was successfully held in Beijing on March 28, 2024. The summit, with the theme of "Innovation Leading to Build Green, Low Carbon and New Quality Productivity," was attended by over a thousand guests from enterprises and government departments engaged in green and low-carbon services, research institutes, industry associations, financial institutions, and relevant international organizations across the country.

The summit was chaired by Li Qingju, Secretary General of EESIA, and delivered speeches by Zhao Penggao, former Deputy Director of the Environment and Resources Department of the National Development and Reform Commission, Zhao Ming, Chairwoman of EESIA, and Huo Weifeng, General Manager of Guangdong Saian Technology Co., Ltd.

Wang Jinnan, an academician of the CAE Member, honorary president of the Environmental Planning Institute of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, He Kebin, an academician of the CAE Member, president of the Institute of Carbon Neutralization of Tsinghua University, and Dai Yande, the former director of the Energy Research Institute of the National Development and Reform Commission, respectively delivered keynote speeches around the themes of "Developing green new quality productivity to promote the construction of a beautiful China", "New technologies and new markets to stimulate new momentum for the development of green and low-carbon industries", and "Seizing the opportunities of the times to achieve rapid development under the dual carbon goals".

The subsequent round table dialogue session on promoting innovation in the dual carbon mechanism in the same direction invited Kang Yanbing, Deputy Director of the National Energy Conservation Center, Xu Shaoshan, Deputy Director of the China Quality Certification Center, Eileen, Deputy Director of the Information and Data Center of the Water Resources and Hydropower Planning and Design Institute, Lin Ling, Chief Expert of the China Institute of Standardization, and Peng Ling, Deputy Director of the Green Finance Center of Huaxia Bank. These six institutional experts from different fields of the green and low-carbon industry expressed their opinions and engaged in in-depth conversations around topics such as new quality productivity, carbon market construction, energy conservation and carbon reduction, green certification and green electricity, equipment updates, carbon footprint, dual carbon standardization, and green finance construction, sharing cutting-edge thinking and collision ideas sparks.

At the summit, a cooperation signing and licensing ceremony was also held. The organizer EESIA and Zhonggong Education signed a strategic cooperation agreement, with EESIA Chairwoman Zhao Ming and Beijing Zhonggong Education Technology Co., Ltd. General Manager Liang Lei as the signing representatives to sign the cooperation agreement.

Subsequently, a comprehensive energy service capability evaluation (ESC) and a green and low-carbon technology service capability evaluation (GSC) certification ceremony were held, and representatives of 29 green and low-carbon enterprises were awarded evaluation levels.

On the afternoon of March 28th, six parallel thematic forums were held simultaneously, including the "Comprehensive Energy Service Innovation and Development Sub Forum", "Industrial Energy Conservation and Carbon Reduction Sub Forum", "Building Energy Conservation and Carbon Reduction Sub Forum", "Industrial and Commercial Energy Storage Development Sub Forum", "Green and Low Carbon Talent Training Sub Forum", and "Comprehensive Energy Station Construction and Operation Group Standard Seminar". Focusing on key areas of green and low carbon, nearly 90 senior experts and outstanding entrepreneurs from related fields were invited to give speeches, interpreting the current situation and future trends of industry development, sharing excellent technical products and successful case experiences, exploring innovative business models and business concepts, and building a platform for communication, exchange, and cooperation for green and low carbon enterprises.

Energy and Environmental Services Industry Annual Summit (EESIAS) is a green and low-carbon industry brand event created by EESIA.
